Großglockner Hochalpenstraße

Tip: Spend the day on the Grossglockner and continue to the lakeside promenade in Zell am See after sunset.

The thirteen national park valleys and their side valleys characterise the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern and give our homeland the special character of an almost endless hiking area. Like pulsating lifelines, the valleys and rivers run through the north side of the nature reserve, providing access to its treasures. The Hollersbachtal, the valley of alpine pastures, comprised up to 34 farmed alpine pastures in its heyday, where the Dorferwirt-Alm is located and is perfect for a first exploration tour.
